Group Investigation - is effective for group problem-solving/Inquiry. Multiple intelligences in the mathematics classroom. The words that were printed on the page were broken into syllables, making the task of reading even easier. You might want to raise this prerequisite issue (for your students, and for their future students) near the beginning of your course.
